Provides content of care consultation and operational support to local/regional operations managers at multiple BHS locations state-wide; develops and maintains the contracted mental health and chemical dependency network statewide.
Assures, in collaboration with local/regional operation leadership, that BHS specialty services quality of care, safety, service and financial performance within the IDS behavioral health delivery systems meet or exceed standards and goals. Collaborates with the BHSS management team to design and support the implementation of quality assessment goals, staffing and productivity targets and standards of care; participates in the development of long-range service planning objectives with regional leadership. Represents BHS at the regional medical delivery system design and long-range service planning objectives with regional leadership. Represents BHS at the regional medical delivery system design and performance meetings.

Minimum Education Requirements
Masters Degree Behavioral Health field
Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Intermediate Working knowledge of mental health and/or chemical dependency treatment of a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including evidenced-based therapies. Working knowledge of NCQA and Medicare Regulations as it applies to BHS. Effective communication and negotiating skills and the ability to work within large systems to effect change. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with primary care clinicians.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Intermediate Working knowledge of managed care principles
Experience
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years Post-graduate experience in clinical work, including management and clinical supervision.
Preferred Experience
2 years Experience in chemical dependency treatment; working within a managed care environment; managing network behavioral health services; managing and developing clinical programs in behavioral health.
License/Certifications

At time of hire Washington License, Masters Level Therapist
